KGa Honored with Spot on Frederick Magazine’s Top 50 Places to Work
For the first time ever Kensington Glass Arts, Inc. has been named to Frederick Magazine’s Top 50 Workplaces in Frederick County. The Frederick Office of Economic Development (OED) in coordination with Frederick Magazine releases a special publication each January naming the top 50 workplaces in Frederick County (Maryland).
The OED bases their list on the following factors:
- Company’s median salary
- Benefits offered to employees
- Community involvement
- Work environment
- Professional growth opportunities
- Work-life balance
Additionally, the OED reviews employee testimonials and the company’s ability to attract and retain top talent. Receiving over 130 nominations for 2020, the OED had a tough task determining what workplaces best exemplified the qualifications above, but due to KGa’s comprehensive benefits package and employee perks, it is no surprise that KGa landed a spot in the top 50.
KGa offers its employees a variety of benefits including an Employee Assistance Program, year-end party with employee gifts, a BBQ Battle where employees compete for prizes, tuition reimbursement and much more. With two locations including its headquarters, in Frederick County and its contributions to the community through company-sponsored charity events, KGa is honored and proud to be named as one of Frederick County’s Top 50 Workplaces.
