Patterned Glass
Patterned glass is made by subjecting a ribbon of molten glass to embossed rollers that imprint a pattern into the face of finished sheet glass. We stock a full range of patterned sheet glass in thicknesses up to 1/2" which we fabricate and temper. We also laminate pattern glasses together to create even more options. So many possibilities!
Acid Etched Glass
Acid etched glass is glass that has been decorated after sheet forming by the application of acid to the glass surface, a process which frosts the glass that has been exposed to the acid. It can be a full frosting on one or both faces of the glass or it can be applied in a pattern. We have the largest variety available of acid etched sheet glass in single and double sided as well as a variety of patterns. We custom cut to size and temper. We can also custom design a pattern to be custom applied in acid etching to create a specific look.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is made by adhering two or more lites of glass together with a film between to hold them together. Most often used for safety reasons, there are endless decorative possibilities as well. Combining patterned or printed glass with colored or patterned inter-layers can create almost any desired look. We are expert in guiding our clients through this maze of possibilities and have been very successful in solving many diverse design and performance challenges.
Insulating Glass
Insulating glass is made of two or more layers of glass sealed together to create airspace to reduce thermal loss or gain or for acoustic insulating. We can provide any type of insulating unit constructed of any type of glass. Tinted spacers and mullions are also available.
Frit Fired Glass
Fritted glass is glass that has been decorated with ceramic frit, which is colored powdered glass that is permanently fused to the surface of the glass during the tempering process. It can be applied by silk-screen or new ink jet technology. Any design can be produced in full permanent color and many abstract patterns can be made quickly and inexpensively. This technology is the wave of the future and our team is trained, experienced and ready to apply our knowledge to your special project.
Kiln Formed Glass
Kiln formed glass has been melted in a kiln so that the glass slumps into a patterned mould or form. It’s a great way to create a truly three dimensional art piece that starts with plain sheet glass.
